The material should be used as efficiently as possible to ensure that there's minimal wastage of plastic.

The kind of moulds used in the approach is one of the main determinants of general production expense. The price of a easy mould is much less than the difficult moulds which have fine patterns and cavities in them. The durability of the moulds also plays an important function for price determination.
